Poor grades do not automatically disqualify you from Fishburn。Some students who enroll at Fishburne do not do well academically at their previous schools。However, once you become a Fishburne trainee, you must be committed to academic success。This includes asking for help, taking help classes when needed, and holding yourself accountable for completing work on time。

Being a Fishburne Cadet is like being in a non-military school。However, as a member of our JROTC Cadet Corps, you will wear the uniform and conduct military exercises。You will also follow certain rules, including sticking to a daily schedule。If you wish, you will take classes, play sports and participate in organized extra-curricular activities。

是的。When you first come to campus, you have to cut your hair short。However, once you have successfully completed the Rook period (the first few weeks of school), you can grow it to the length just above your ear。

Most sports do not require tryouts。This means you can participate in almost any sport Fishburne has to offer。The only sport that requires a tryout is the Fishburne Rifles。

No, the teachers aren't mean。Many of our faculty and staff have military backgrounds and enjoy maintaining order in the classroom。So think hard, but don't be mean。

Cadet leaders and staff have been put in place to maintain order at Fishburn。Their job is not to "manage you," but to make sure things run smoothly, orderly, and on time。You will learn time management skills and how to follow these skills to improve productivity in and out of the classroom。

Fishburne is an all-boys school for day students and boarders。

You will wake up at 6:30 am Monday to Friday, but you can sleep longer on weekends。

If you are a 7 day boarder, you can go home on weekends if it is an "open" weekend。You usually get to go home at least one weekend a month。

Once you have successfully completed the required Rook status as a new student, you can go into town on weekends。

There are a variety of fun activities to get you off campus almost every weekend, including air rifle outings, movies, hikes to the nearby mountains, and other social activities。

If you are a day student, you can only bring your car to campus。It would be driving to school and home every day。

Although rare, if you repeatedly violate the prescribed cadet handbook, or if you do something beyond the first violation, you may be expelled from Fishburne。

Once you have been officially expelled from Fishburne, you will not be able to re-register。However, this is a rare case where your crime must be shocking。Similarly, our mission is to provide a structured educational environment to help you succeed in your academic career and in life。
