Everything is about to change -- and it starts with you

Life at Fishburne is organized for a reason - so that as a cadet you can make the most of every day。

小班?As a result, you can get the attention and guidance you need。Reduce interference? So you can focus on what's important。Discipline and structure?Because they actually free you up to do other things。brotherhood?Because, of course。Respect every student?Because we reward character and performance, not seniority。No trial exercise? So everyone can play what they like。The truth is, you wake up every day with a purpose and go to bed satisfied (and tired) at night。What could be better than that?

室友

Build lasting friendships

In Fishburne, you don't have to choose a roommate。But most students will tell them they won't change roommates for anything。Roommates are chosen by the commander and his staff, who try to find the right roommate based on age, grade, new cadet status, and rank。Room changes may be made, but are at the discretion of the commander at the request of the cadet or his or her parents or on the advice of staff and management。

Room furnishings

The students live a tidy lifestyle

Your room is fully furnished by Fishburne, so you don't need to bring any furniture。However, you can bring electronic devices, but only items that fit your desk。Other permitted items (at the discretion of the commander) include video game systems and Musical Instruments from small refrigerators and small seas。

Working in a clean and orderly environment can increase our productivity。So your room should be neat and ready for routine inspection。Electronic products and civilian clothing may be restricted at the discretion of commanders。

"He craves cleanliness and tidiness: it's hard to find peace in chaos。”

- Robin Hobb \ Urban fantasy author \ Winner of the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award

Years and years in the corps

Every year at Fishburne will be different。But no matter what year or rank you earned, expect you to live up to the lofty standards that have defined Fishburne Military Academy since 1897。We call it peer pressure at its best。You would call it what makes Fishburne great。In either case, each participant maintains a high level of academic excellence, physical and mental health, and cleanliness (personal appearance and personal and public Spaces).。Of course, class attendance and participation are essential, as is timely completion of work and assignments。

Eventually, you will learn (as in life) that every action you take has both positive and negative consequences。But every action - positive or negative - is an opportunity to discover what is great about you。That's what makes your time as a cadet worth it。

  • 大一

    Bring your best

Life begins in the classroom and in the ranks of one of Fishburne's four companies。As a JROTC Leadership Level I cadet, the opportunity to climb the leadership ladder in the classroom, in the field, or in formation are just a few areas where freshmen excel。

  • Second grade

    加紧

Fishburne's sophomores may return in their first year, or as an older cadet。Regardless of grade level, every sophomore has the opportunity to earn the junior Non-commissioned Officer level。From freshman to sophomore year, expectations of personal and academic standards increase。

  • 初级

    负责

Fishburne juniors can return for years or as first-year cadets。New and returning cadets have the opportunity to earn the Senior Noncommissioned Officer rank in JROTC Leadership Level III and Corps while improving academic rigor。

  • high-grade

    Lead all the way

As it should be, your senior year is your most challenging and rewarding。Every officer and commander comes from the senior class, but not every senior officer is an officer - so be prepared to compete for leadership positions。You will also learn a lot about leadership (military and otherwise) in JROTC Level 4。

Student logistics service

In addition to outstanding academic, athletic, and JROTC programs, Fishburne supports the Cadet Corps in a number of ways。The campus has a laundry service, barber shop, medical clinic, cadet shop, media centre, transport fleet and Sonneborne canteen。

  • barbershop

Every two weeks (or so), you get your hair cleaned up at the barber shop。 (Yes, it is included in your room and board)。As you know, your hair should be neat and trimmed; The top is no more than an inch, and the sides taper off。Sideburns do not extend below the middle of the inner ear。

  • Laundry \ Dry cleaning

Although you have a lot to deal with every day, we will take care of cleaning and dry cleaning your military and clothing。We even wash authorized casual clothes。We will also make changes (new pockets, zippers and overhauls), but this will cost a little extra。

  • dispensary

A nurse is on duty seven days a week。We were in the infirmary from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m。We always have a nurse on call when the infirmary is closed。Faculty members who live on campus are on standby to take trainees who need medical attention to the hospital。

  • Media Center \ Library

The Media Centre is open daily during academic days and self-study periods。It is managed by adults during business hours to help you with any needs。You can also use the Waynesboro Public Library when you get an authorized town pass。

  • Cadet shop

Fishburne has some really cool loot that you can get at the Cadet Store。The store also sells everyday items such as pencils, notebooks, personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies。As for your uniform and other necessary clothing, it is sold and issued by the quartermaster。

  • SONNEBORN MESS HALL

One of the biggest surprises for each participant is the quality of the food at Fishburne。Well, you can thank Marquis Services, a small family business that handles all the food preparation。They are committed to using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and keeping the menu fresh, interesting, and even healthy。
